Presentation

Image Visualisation Tools that work in conjunction with Flickr
Tag Galaxy

An interesting way to view a lot of related images. Simply type in a tag to produce your own on-screen interactive universe. The main tag is displayed at the centre as the sun, associated tags create the surrounding planets. Choose any planet & rotate with the mouse, to view the images associated with that tag. http://taggalaxy.de/

How could I make Use of this Tool?

Useful perhaps for discussions prompted by a type of image or to view your own collection with students , perhaps from a field trip or event.

Copyright

As you are only viewing images on the Internet that individuals have chosen to make publically available in Flickr there is no copyright problem. If however you particularly like an image and choose to go into Flickr (direct connection possible from Tag Galaxy) with a view to downloading it, please check for a Creative Commons licence before you do so.
